Qu’aiti State of Shihr and Mukalla 1946 Victory

The State of Qu'aiti Shihr and Mukalla was a sultanate in the south of the Arabian Peninsula. In 1888 it became a part of the Aden Protectorate and has remained under British protection as part of the Protectorate of South Arabia. In 1967 the former sultanate became part of newly independent South Yemen
