Great Britain 1953 Coronation

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (in ordinary language: "United Kingdom", "Great Britain", "England") is located in state in Western Europe. The United Kingdom is a unitary been Consisting of four constituent nations: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It was the first country in the world to be Industrialized and this led to the transformation of the country and fueled the growing British Empire Which Reached its greatest extent in 1921 and Began to fall apart after WW II. Currently has fourteen overseas territories

Queen Elizabeth II Coronation

On 2nd June 1953 Princess Elizabeth was crowned Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan and Ceylon, thus assuming the role of Head of the Commonwealth. Elizabeth ascended to the throne of these countries following the death of his father, King George VI. During the coronation ceremony, Queen Elizabeth swore an oath to uphold the law in his kingdom and take over the government of the Church of England.
