France is a Member State of the European Union, located in Western Europe and, of all the major European states, is the oldest training. Country deeply Romanized, was influenced by the Italian Renaissance, and in the seventeenth century, developed a form of classicism original that prevailed in the arts and in thought. Maximum center of the Enlightenment, has influenced the American revolution, and through the French Revolution gave impetus and example of democracy in the world, bringing the values of freedom, equality, and fraternity. Between the eighteenth century and nineteenth century, France had created an empire of vast proportions, which, in part, has preserved the language and culture of their homeland.
