Kathiri State of Seiyun - 1946 - WW II victory

Kathiri State of Seiyun was a sultanate in the south of the Arabian Peninsula. In the late 19th century and became a part of the Aden Protectorate and has remained under British protection as part of the Protectorate of South Arabia. In 1967 the former sultanate  became part of newly independent South Yemen
