Latvia 1920 Reunification of the provinces

The Republic of Latvia is a European state located in north-eastern. Formerly inhabited by nomadic peoples, despite foreign rule from 13 to 20 century, it has maintained its identity through the generations. The Republic of Latvia was founded in 1918 but in 1940, the country was forcibly inserted into the Soviet Union, invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany in 1941, and re-occupied by the Soviets in 1944. The Republic of Latvia regained its independence in 1991
